As demand picks up, Cat hires back workers

Caterpillar has hired back a "good portion" of 500 laid-off workers from its Decatur, Ill., plant. The company now forecasts sales and revenues up 10% to 25% this year and believes full-year profit per share could reach $2.50, assuming that the company achieves the middle of its estimated sale and revenues range.
