Don Marrandino, the president of the Eastern Division of Harrah's Entertainment, says entertainment will save Atlantic City from declining gambling revenues. Marrandino has booked Cheap Trick, Joan Jett, Elvis Costello and Jethro Tull at Harrah's properties and plans to start a comedy festival in Atlantic City. Marrandino said Atlantic City "was the 'world's playground,' and I think it could be it again. Or I'm gonna die trying."
