Vancouver stadium roof showing age, but ready for Games

Some have questions about the stability of the roof on Vancouver's Olympic stadium, B.C. Place. A FabriTec Structures' service manager wrote in a report that the outer fabric of the roof "is starting to show its age." However, there is no way to determine the strength of the fabric without removing test panels, which could be costly. The International Olympic Committee is not worried the roof will leak or blow away when The Games open in February.
