Cutting calories is key to weight loss regardless of diet plan

A study found no significant difference in weight and fat reduction after six months among participants who followed one of four different weight-loss diets, all of which cut about 750 calories per day. The findings suggest that simply cutting back on calories may be the key to weight loss, regardless of the diet plan used, Louisiana researchers said.
