Study links prostate cancer risk to fried foods

Men who ate deep-fried foods such as french fries or fried chicken once a week or more were up to 37% more likely to develop prostate cancer than were those who ate deep-fried foods less than once a month, according to a study of about 3,000 men. Fried foods also were associated with a slightly higher risk of developing more aggressive prostate cancer. The findings appeared on the website of the journal The Prostate.
