Study suggests melamine tableware affects blood levels

The use of melamine in the manufacture of tableware is raising health concerns in the wake of a study from Kaohsiung Medical University in Taiwan showing elevated chemical levels in the blood of those using such products. The study did not assess the clinical significance of the elevated levels, but previous research has suggested a link between melamine and kidney disease.
