Whirlpool to abandon appeal of ITC refrigerator imports decision

Whirlpool Corp. has announced plans to drop an appeals process over a 2012 decision by the International Trade Commission over refrigerator imports that the U.S. Court of International Trade subsequently said was wrought with errors. The company says rather than appeal, it will instead focus on monitoring the trade market.
