Kraft Reports Solid Fourth-Quarter Earnings, Savings From Nabisco Buy

Kraft Foods has met fourth-quarter estimates with better-than-expected sales volume, while hitting a cost-savings target of $100 million from its Nabisco acquisition. Fourth-quarter pro-forma earnings rose 34%. Kraft said it expects a 14% to 16% increase in diluted earnings per share for 2002.
