Virtual schools adapt well to families' routines

About 1,000 Wisconsin students are enrolled in six virtual charter schools, which offer families flexibility in scheduling instruction. Despite this obvious benefit, the state's largest teachers union opposes the schools, saying they violate state law by allowing parents to teach their children without a valid license.
