Indian grocer focuses on convenience

The Patel Brothers grocery in Chicago is expanding to stock more than just Indian staples. It's offering a wider variety of prepared, frozen and ready-to-eat options including packaged naan and frozen Indian-Chinese entrees. Ethnic grocers, like mainstream retailers, are focusing more on convenience, a retail consultant said.
