Some doctors promote Gardasil vaccine for protecting boys

The Gardasil vaccine recommended for inoculating girls against some strains of the human papillomavirus, which can cause cervical cancer, also could prevent anal cancer in gay men, according to some doctors. They note the same HPV strains are the cause of both types of cancer and that the European Union and Australia have approved Merck's Gardasil for boys as well as girls.
