Startup boasts safer notebook battery

Startup Boston-Power says its Sonata battery is safer than conventional lithium-ion batteries and is also compatible with current notebook designs. Further, the battery takes 30 minutes to charge to 80% capacity, whereas most batteries take up to two hours to charge to 90% capacity.
