Report: Multichannel retailing critical for success

Many retailers are still novices when it comes to cross-channel integration, which is the key to success in today's market, according to an industry group's recent report titled "Channel Integration and Benchmarks in the Retail Industry." The report notes that 41% of survey respondents don't operate a physical store, and both e-commerce sites (22%) and brick-and-mortar stores (20%) pulled in the highest revenues last year.
