Report: Recession not likely to hurt hospitality industry

The hospitality industry in the U.S. this year will be shaped by a weakening dollar, the ongoing credit squeeze, globalization and a variety of other factors, according to a report by Ernst & Young. "Conventional wisdom might suggest that the U.S. hospitality sector is likely to suffer if we head into a recession, but the unique fundamentals of the hotel industry over the last few years suggest otherwise," said Michael Fishbin of Ernst & Young.
