Japanese production, employment continue decreasing

Industrial production in Japan fell by 9.6% in December, the second month in a row to show a record decline. During the same period, unemployment shot up to 4.4%. The discouraging numbers are seen as a sign that the Japanese economy is flagging under falling export demand.
