Many spouses share risk factors for coronary disease

Italian researchers reported that a meta-analysis of 71 studies showed spouses tend to have the same risk factors for coronary artery disease, especially body mass index and smoking. The team found 424,613 correlations among more than 100,000 couples, including diastolic blood pressure, triglycerides, total and LDL cholesterol, and weight.
