Teachers don't have legal right to question district on student discipline

Teachers are not permitted to file suit if they disagree with how a school district disciplines students, per a Michigan Court of Appeals ruling Wednesday. Several teachers and their union in a Michigan district argued that the school system should have expelled, not suspended, four students who allegedly threw chairs at teachers.
