Candidates for the GOP leadership are touting their number of Twitter followers as evidence of their new media prowess. But some politicos are wondering if technology adoption is overrated as an end unto itself. "If there's someone out there who votes for the candidate who Twitters more, then we need to take away his voter-registration card," said Michael Palmer, the former McCain-Palin campaign's new media chief.
