Hershey to source cocoa from Rainforest Alliance certified farms

Hershey announced that it will use cocoa from Rainforest Alliance certified farms for its Bliss brand this year and also is working with the alliance to source certified cocoa for its premium chocolate brand Dagoba. Also, Hershey plans to expand its mobile phone CocoaLink program into the Ivory Coast. An overall investment of $10 million by 2017 will provide real-time information to West African cocoa farmers and other educational programs as well as reduce child labor.
