Kent State students use leftovers to feed the needy

Students at Kent State University have created a campuswide program to collect food that would otherwise go to waste and turn it into meals to feed people in need. In its first year, the Campus Kitchens Project has turned 14,000 pounds of fresh food into 10,000 meals.
