Ohio wants to provide more meals to students in the summer

Officials in Ohio want to enroll more disadvantaged students in the federally funded Summer Food Service Program, which provides students with free breakfasts or lunches during summer months, when school meals are not available. The push comes after the release of data showing that about 45% of students in Ohio are eligible for free or reduced-price meals -- a record high of nearly 841,000 children.
