Tension builds between New York's 2 financial regulators

Attorney General Eric Schneiderman is no longer New York state's only financial regulator and law enforcement official. Benjamin Lawsky, the head of the state Department of Financial Services, is gaining a reputation in his first few months of the job for doing the kind of work that in the past was the attorney general's responsibility. Some tensions have emerged between the two offices so far.
