Txt4health initiative to launch at 3 Beacon HIT communities

The txt4health mobile texting program is set to go live today at three federally funded Beacon HIT communities in New Orleans, Cincinnati and southeast Michigan. The program, created in part by the American Diabetes Association, would allow people vulnerable to type 2 diabetes to receive personalized text messages on evaluating risks, managing health and accessing care resources.
