Erectile dysfunction linked to heart disease risk

Researchers looked at data on more than 95,000 men ages 45 and older and found that those with moderate or severe erectile dysfunction had up to a 50% higher risk of being hospitalized for heart problems. Having a history of heart disease further increased the risk of hospitalization. The study was published in the journal PLoS Medicine.
