FDA supports radiation protection initiative

The FDA has allotted grant funds to support the Center for Devices and Radiological Health's 2013 Assuring Radiation Protection program, which will aim to boost cooperation on measures to solve radiation control problems, both now and in the future. Areas of interest include the use of nonmedical ionizing radiation and medical/nonmedical nonionizing radiation, as well as the management of radiation exposure from all sources.
