Fewer Hispanics than whites report having diabetes, survey finds

Data from a Pew Research Center survey showed only 51% of Hispanics monitor their weight, diet and exercise, compared with 60% of the general U.S. population. Researchers also found 34% of Hispanics reported having diabetes or other chronic diseases, while 47% of non-Hispanic whites did so.
