How a Russian family lived in isolation for decades

A member of a persecuted Russian Orthodox sect escaped in 1936 by marching his family into the Siberian wilderness, and they lived there, in isolation, for more than four decades. The family of six was discovered by geologists in the late 1970s, having completely missed many of the defining moments of the 20th century.
