Texas city's finances could determine manager's fate

The Floresville, Texas, City Council discussed a $385,000 deficit and the state of City Manager Andy Joslin's job at a packed meeting. Many people were there to support Joslin, and they suggested that the council give him six months to get the city on a budget track that doesn't add more debt before dismissing him. The council decided in a closed session that Joslin has 90 days to meet criteria set out by councilors.
