Planners in Yakima, Wash., hold meeting to discuss digital-sign policy

The planning commission in Yakima, Wash., recently held a study session to discuss how to draw up a policy regarding digital signs and billboards. A moratorium on billboards and on-premise signs has been in place since April to allow for the creation of a new policy. Larry Oliver, owner of a local sign company, said he wanted to make sure the benefits of digital signs to local business were discussed along with potential regulations.
