USGBC introduces LEED Dynamic Plaque system

The U.S. Green Building Council recently unveiled the LEED Dynamic Plaque, which is a new system designed to distinguish green building "strategies from the results and outcome, and then having the same [scale] to measure [building performance]," said Scot Horst, LEED senior vice president. This article discussed how the new system works in the construction industry, with USGBC planning to award 25 LEED Dynamic Plaques in the U.S. by the first quarter of 2014 and many more year's end. "[T]he plan over the next few years is to make LEED completely a recertification program," Horst said.
