Unconventional Technique To Be Used On Puget Sound Overpass

Part of a new overpass in Bellevue, Wash., is to be first used as a detour bridge before eventually being rolled into its final position. This new technique allows for a minimum of disruption while the project is being completed. Work on the $16 million to $20 million project is expected to begin this summer with a possible late 2003 completion date.
