Pennsylvania lawmaker looks to change liquor laws

A Pennsylvania state senator is pushing for legislation that would prevent supermarkets from selling beer in the state, saying it would lead to more underage drinking. The state liquor laws allow beer sales if the store separates the beer from the groceries with a separate checkout and serves food for in-store dining.
