Sales of imported beers in grocery stores jumped 6.3% in 2006, according to ACNielsen. Mainstream brewers Anheuser-Busch and SABMiller are getting into the game, with Anheuser-Busch exclusively importing Stella Artois beginning next month and Miller tapping into its global portfolio to import more beers from Peru and Colombia.
