Economic uncertainty, oil prices prompt slower traffic growth

Soaring oil prices and slower economic growth will hurt airline profits and slow global traffic growth this year, according to an international group representing airlines. Passenger demand is expected to increase 5% in 2008, compared with an increase of 7.4% in 2007.
