TransCanada details costs for proposed Alaska gas pipeline

A planned natural gas pipeline in Alaska will cost up to $41 billion to build, depending on the route, TransCanada said. The project aims to transport natural gas from the North Slope to the Alaskan market, through Canada and to the contiguous U.S. TransCanada and ExxonMobil are working together to move the venture forward.
