Bazaarvoice and Buddy Media join forces for social-content distribution

Social-commerce company Bazaarvoice and social media management platform Buddy Media are joining forces to help brands spread reviews and other user-created content across their social media channels. The companies have developed a Facebook application that identifies and promotes a company's best-reviewed products, encouraging Facebook fans to share links and visit brands' e-retail sites. "We wanted to figure out ... a way to break down the walls between this awesome word-of-mouth content and what was going on on [clients'] Facebook pages," Buddy Media CEO Michael Lazerow says.
