How one N.H. teacher brings football into the classroom

Jillian Brickley, a fifth-grade teacher in New Hampshire, organizes a weeklong classroom competition that recognizes students' teamwork and coincides with the Super Bowl. During the Brickley Bowl, students compete in teams -- girls versus boys -- throughout the school day. While lessons are largely unchanged, some football themes are included and students earn yards for academic achievement.
