St. Louis dietitian says layoff prompted her new career

Alice Foster found that a layoff had a silver lining in that it prompted her to reconsider her career choices and become a dietitian. Her St. Louis practice includes one-on-one counseling as well as teaching community classes. Her philosophy is that people can eat well anywhere, including at fast-food restaurants, by making healthy choices and substitutions.
