Contractors sought for restoration of U.S. Capitol Dome

The dome of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., needs to be restored, and the Architect of the Capitol is looking for contractors to do the work. The undertaking calls for repairs to the dome's cast- and wrought-iron and brick structure, and it could cost more than $10 million to complete. The fact that there is no funding for the work could deter some contractors, but for those who are interested, responses should be in by March 15.
