Copper domes shine at historic Calif. church

The composition shingles on the domed towers of St. Dominic's Church in Benicia, Calif., have been replaced with copper. The $490,000 reroofing project on the church built in 1890 conforms to the city's historic conservation plan and federal preservation standards. It's not clear what the original roofing material was when the church was built.
