Future teachers learn drama techniques to instruct all students

Through songs, storytelling and movement, college students enrolled in Drama in Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison teach young children about empathy and conflict-resolution skills. The techniques, ranging from dance to spontaneous song, can reach students of all abilities and backgrounds, including those with disabilities, said Manon van de Water, director of theater production.
