Traditionally, cocoa butter prices are higher than those for cocoa powder, but that is changing as "more and more applications for powder are being introduced, and there are more regions in the world consuming both chocolate and powder-based food products," said Hugo van der Goes, vice president at Cargill Cocoa and Chocolate.
