Local companies help Maine students with energy-efficiency project

Middle-school students at Brunswick Junior High School in Maine are learning how to make a home more energy-efficient through a hands-on community project created by teacher Felicity Beede. Students are working with local energy professionals as part of a project. "There's math, there's economics, there's politics, there's community service, there's physical labor, there's photography and video and interviews," Beede said. "It just seemed like we were doing something good in the community and learning a ton at the same time."
