Invited customers who make a trip to Lanvin's Mount Street store in London by Feb. 28 will be able to buy one of five black python handbags the brand is selling for $4,000 each, from a limited edition run of 14. Lanvin, Valentino, Gucci and other luxury brands are boosting their use of exclusive experiences, from meeting the designer to mingling with stars at new store openings, to win customer loyalty in an increasingly competitive international arena.
