Prepared meals are falling out of favor

As the economy improves, consumers are eating at restaurants more often and buying fewer retailer meal solutions, according to Technomic. Retailers can reverse the trend by offering high-quality prepared meals with fresh ingredients, Vice President Darren Tristano says.
