Update: Less than 1% of Wash. state dairy herd positive for tuberculosis

Testing at a Washington state dairy found just 11 animals, or less than 1% of the herd, tested positive for bovine tuberculosis, which is much lower than expected, a state Agriculture Department official said. Cows at a nearby farm were also negative for bovine tuberculosis, and veterinarians are still attempting to identify any other potentially exposed cattle.
