4 teams vie for $608M South Capitol Street Corridor project in D.C.

Four contractor teams are in the running to build parts one and two of the South Capitol Street Corridor project in Washington, D.C. These two phases, estimated to cost $608 million, include demolition and replacement of the Douglass Bridge and construction of traffic ovals. The teams in contention are: Frederick Douglass Bridge Partners; Skanska Facchina; South Capitol Constructors; and South Capitol Bridge Builders.
