ACC's CAB signals steady growth in 2014

This month's Chemical Activity Barometer showed slight improvement, which bodes well for the rest of the year, the American Chemistry Council said. "Slow and steady [economic growth] isn't a bad thing when you consider the alternative," said ACC Chief Economist Kevin Swift. Meanwhile, the U.S. Chemical Production Regional Index rose 0.8% last month after a 0.3% gain in November.
