A high-school junior in Michigan has turned his end-of-year history report -- about abolitionist John Brown -- into a 40-minute documentary called "Madman or Martyr." The film, set to premiere tonight at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History in Detroit, was created after hours of online research and interviews with historians, said Luke Jaden, who is now a senior at Detroit Country Day High School. "Once I started researching, I fell in love with the topic," he said. "John Brown is one of the greatest American heroes, in my opinion."
