Obama aiming for cyber defense via executive power

The White House may be making good on its stated plan to wield executive power to accomplish a number of its unmet goals, as it appears the Defense Department stands ready to change acquisition rules to meet President Barack Obama's cybersecurity targets. The Pentagon has announced it's implementing six reforms to federal acquisition cybersecurity, with DOD acquisition chief Frank Kendall saying the changes were "planned reforms."
